This is fantastic. Our dog isn’t on the lead often but when we walk her it is perfect to quickly grab it if someone walks past but not long enough that it scrapes on the ground. My favourite!

I now have two of these as I was so impressed with the durability and versatility of this extender. I first purchased one for a client dog who is tethered in a large garden. It goes between his harness and the longline so I can use it when I walk him. The dog is large and has a propensity to snap his tether lines and go on adventures in the local woods. This extender has outlived 4 longlines now and is still in excellent condition. I also now use a second one to clip his lead to my belt so that in the event he does lunge after a cat or squirrel he can't pull his lead out of my hand and get away. I also use this second one for other dogs which pull to give my shoulder and elbow some relief.
The only downside I would say is that the loop handle is too close to the dog, I prefer the close control handle to be a little further away from the dog so that I have a little more room between me and the dog for close control. This is especially true for smaller or medium sized dogs where I would have to bend to actually use the loop.

Absolutely NO Stress to hand shoulder, arm or back.
I do combine Zero Shock Extension, Handy Leash and Express Harness and clip or unclip accordingly for close or long leash training.
Best results for me as I take on dogs out of the kennel and re-train and avoid pain or shock association to conflict situations.
