Product Description
The EzyDog Checkmate is a martingale collar designed for dogs that need reliable, humane control on the lead. Unlike a standard flat collar, the martingale-style design tightens gently when pressure is applied — providing a secure, no-choke fit that prevents slipping out without restricting breathing.
Built from EzyDog’s durable signature webbing, the Checkmate is fully adjustable and features reflective stitching for visibility on early morning and evening walks. The welded stainless steel D-ring gives a solid attachment point for your lead, and the quick-release buckle makes fitting and removal quick and easy.
Who is the Checkmate for?
The Checkmate martingale collar works well for dogs of all breeds that pull or back out of flat collars — including sighthounds such as Greyhounds and Whippets, whose necks are often wider than their heads. It’s equally well-suited to dogs in early training where gentle correction is needed, or any dog that needs a more secure collar for daily walks.
Available in four colours: Black, Red, Blue and Camo with sizes Small through to Extra Large, so there’s a fit for most breeds and neck sizes.
Pair the Checkmate with an EzyDog dog lead for a complete walking setup, or explore our full range of dog training collar options. You may also browse every dog collar we make. For a wider fit for large and giant breeds, see the Checkmate Wide.
